We recognize that disruptions to routines and uncertainty can be difficult for families, and we are truly grateful for your partnership and resilience.
Your encouragement, flexibility, and care for your children’s learning and well-being have not gone unnoticed. It is in moments like these that the strength of our school community truly shines.

Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids - Lunches During School Strike or Lockout
Hello,
Because a school strike or lockout occurred, resulting in the closure of all or some of the schools
accessing the Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) School Lunch program, we are
committed to continuing to provide lunches to kids who need them via a lunch-pickup model
at designated sites in Calgary.
As this is an evolving situation, we will be keeping this webpage updated with further details
and with the locations at which your family will be able to access BB4CK lunches.

2025 Magic of Christmas Visit Referral

Thank you for referring families in 2024. We're very happy to have Calgary Board of Education (CBE) as a referral partner for the Magic of Christmas. Referrals are now open for Christmas 2025! If you would like to refer a family to the Magic of Christmas in 2025, please follow these steps:
Copy your Referral Org ID # (0011I00000ihOH6) This is your unit ID number for Calgary Board of Education (CBE).
To copy it, you can highlight and then right-click/copy the number so that you can paste it later
Visit the Referral page: http://themagicofchristmas.org/referral-form/
Paste your Org ID # and click Next
This should display your Organization name and a choice of contacts with your organization
Select your name from the list of contacts for your organization
Complete the other details for the referral.
Please also ensure you carefully review the information contained on our website at https://www.themagicofchristmas.org/referrals-info before submitting the form.
Visit Status
You are able to check on the status of your referral requests on our website at https://themagicofchristmas.org/visit-status/ by entering the same Org ID # shown above. If you encounter any issues, you can reply to this email or call us at 403-803-1619. Due to the large number of phone calls we receive, please be patient when waiting for a response. Email inquiries are preferred.
